Just the 2 of Us, The Story of a Teenage Mother.

Just the 2 of us.pngWhat better to have then a next door neighbor that has shared a similar journey through life; her name is Nadine Parson and she is not only a neighbor, but a loving friend. Recently, Nadine was kind enough to share her story as a single mother raising a son through life’s obstacles. Nadine and I share a similar story in which my mother was also a single parent who raised me to where I am now. This book will touch your heart and illustrate the perseverance a single mother must have to raise a child in today’s world.

“…I felt a need to share my story with other young mothers, letting them know the roads to raising your child will be rocky with many steep curbs. Keep going. Never give in or give up on yourself or the greatest gift God chose to give to you – your child.”           ~Nadine Parson

Nadine is available for speaking arrangements. If you are interested, kindly email her at; nparson@rochester.rr.com and if you’re lucky she may whip you up a batch of her delicious brownies!

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to Sojourner House in Rochester, NY. Sojourner House is a not for profit facility assisting women and their families in developing stable, independent and productive lives. To learn more about Sojourner House, contact them at www.sojournerhouse.org or call them at 585.436.7100
