The non-for-profit organization “The First Tee” has recently caught my attention. After hitting a bucket of balls at Genesee Valley Golf Course; I came across “The First Tee” logo attached to the pro shop. I believe its great to see and hear young kids getting excited about golf. From what I have read off the “The First Tee” site, is that they are teaching children more of life’s lessons through the great sport of golf. I have always believed that the way you handle yourself on the golf course reflects how you handle yourself in life; and what better way to guide children towards a well balanced life than through golf.

• The First Tee’s mission is to impact the the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf
